This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Cary is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. I visited Crema Coffee years ago and really enjoyed the experience, and I recently returned to meet someone for a business meeting. The service continues to be excellent, and the staff is friendly and personable. The shop offers a wide variety of pastries, which is a nice plus. There is outdoor seating with tables and chairs available, though those could be in slightly better condition. Overall, it’s still a very nice spot to meet, relax, or get some work done. I would recommend it.

I really loved it here. I loved the cozy atmosphere/decor. The service is really friendly. The black and white iced coffee is amazing, great coffee taste, not sweet at all. I’d go back.

I should start by saying I make espresso at home and I'm picky about it. I've been making great decaf espresso for about 18 months now from lots of different origins so I know what it can be. First, the staff and atmosphere here are both lovely. They were very accommodating when I asked them to try my decaf quad shot again. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed and they even have their roaster prominently displayed. It's a nice place to hang out. Despite this, the decaf espresso here was not good. It was bitter and watery. There were no notes in there, just astringent. I suspect the ratio is off. The friendly barista told me they use 18g for quad shots but didn't know what the output was. They apologized that they couldn't adjust the amount of water used in the shot, but they instead offered to adjust the grind a bit. I appreciated the willingness to try, and they didn't charge me for the second shot, even though I gladly offered to pay. There was plenty of crema, which tells me the coffee isn't stale. They sell their coffee beans in large glass containers and I couldn't find roast dates on there. I asked about the roast date and the barista told me it was within the past sev

I have been in this shopping center so many times and i can't believe i didn't know about this coffee shop sooner! The inside was so warm and welcoming and there were a few tables inside and outside. What i loved most about this spot was all the delicious pastries they had to choose from. Everything they had sounded so good! I chose the adorable hello kitty shaped banana flavored madeleine and a raspberry white chocolate croissant, that i took to go. The also had another case that had cakes in them. But there were so many different croissant flavors that it was so hard to choose. I also ordered a small iced toasted s'mores latte, which was about $4.50 if i'm not mistaken. I typically like my drinks more sweet, but this drink had a stronger coffee taste in my opinion, but i still really enjoyed the drink. The only thing is that I really wish that their pastries would've had prices. I would've bought more had the prices been listed. I didn't want to bother the cashier of having to ask the price of certain items.

Great coffee and pastries spot in Cary. They roast their own beans, coffee is always fresh and great tasting , large selection of syrups. Their bakery is star of the show, they run out of pastries pretty quickly so I’d suggest getting them earlier in the day. Today I tried Dutch slow brew iced coffee with brown sugar cinnamon syrup with cream, and a pistachio croissant. Croissant was perfectly flaky and just right amount of sweetness. Coffee was great as usual. Staff is very nice, ample amount of seating. Highly recommend trying out this hidden gem !!
